Building Trust,
Strengthening Communities
Through shared experiences, we create space for people to connect, support one another, and turn relationships into meaningful action, helping communities become more connected and resilient.
Meaningful action begins with knowing what matters. Yet in the busyness of our lives, we can lose the space to reflect, the energy to stay engaged, and the connection to people who remind us what is possible.
Sometimes, we need stillness. Sometimes, we need a shared meal, a thoughtful conversation, joy and play, or an experience that opens us to a different perspective. Each can help us return to our lives and our communities with greater clarity, care, and purpose.
Ikigai Engagement exists to create these opportunities. It exists to help people reconnect with themselves, build relationships with others, and discover what they can contribute together.
We also strengthen platforms bringing people, ideas, and shared concerns into meaningful conversation. Supporting the work of others is part of how we serve.
These experiences have distinct purposes: reflection, connection, learning, renewal, and civic participation. Together, they help create the conditions for trust to grow and for people to act with greater intention.
We measure their value in what they make possible: clearer priorities, stronger relationships, greater belonging, new collaborations, and the energy to keep showing up for work that matters.
At its best, Ikigai Engagement is where values become movement. It is where people find space to understand what matters to them, recognize that they do not have to work alone, and begin to see what they can create together.
Day of Clarity
HOSTED BY NATALIE RIVASVIRTUAL & LIVE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA USA
Step out of urgency.
Reconnect with what matters.
The Ikigai Partnership Day of Clarity is a monthly practice of stepping out of urgency and remembering who we are before what we do.
Through grounding, stillness, human connection, play, and reflection, we create space to notice what matters and choose our next steps with greater intention. Whether you spend time in nature, share a slow meal, move your body, or try something new, you can participate wherever you are, alongside a community practicing together. Returning each month helps turn moments of clarity into a more grounded way of living, relating, and acting.
‘I dream about what might grow when more of us have room to listen to ourselves, feel connected, and follow what matters to us. The relationships we might nurture. The choices we might make. The things we might feel ready to do or not do. I want to help create a future with more tenderness, imagination, and belonging in it and I love that we can practice some of that here, with each other, now.”

Miami Climate Leaders Happy Hour
HOSTED BY THE IKIGAI PARTNERSHIPLIVE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA USA
Good people. Shared purpose. Unexpected possibilities.
Since 2023, the Miami Climate Leaders Happy Hour has brought together people who care about the future of this place we call home. Entrepreneurs, scientists, nonprofit leaders, policymakers, sustainability professionals, and community advocates come together to share what they’re working on, learn from one another, and discover where they can help.
Founded by Andy Chabassol and now part of The Ikigai Partnership’s Engagement pillar, these gatherings create a welcoming space for conversations that busy schedules and professional boundaries too often prevent. Someone working to restore our waterways might meet someone building a business, shaping public policy, or helping a neighborhood prepare for a changing climate. Different experiences meet around a shared concern for people, place, and future generations.
“There are so many good people doing meaningful work in South Florida who haven’t met each other yet. I started these gatherings to help change that. Come curious about the person beside you. Ask what they’re working on and where they could use a hand. For me, the real measure of the evening is what happens afterward ... the coffee, the introduction, the offer to help. That’s how a community becomes stronger.”
-Andy Chabassol
The invitation is simple… come curious.
You don’t need a climate-related job title to contribute. A thoughtful question, a useful introduction, or a willingness to listen can be the beginning of something meaningful. Ask what someone is working on. Celebrate a recent success with them. Find out where they need help.
The ambition extends beyond the evening itself. As the series grows, we aim to spotlight community leaders and nonprofit organizations doing important work, connect them with people who can help, and provide financial support where event proceeds allow. Partners and hosts help make these gatherings possible while contributing to the community they serve.
An introduction can become a relationship. A relationship can become a collaboration. And a collaboration can help move our community forward.
Come meet the people who care about the future of South Florida and discover what you might make possible together.
