We are all in this together.
Be a Force For The FutureHelp Us Help Good People Doing The Hard Things That Matter
If you’ve ever stayed after a community meeting to talk with the person who organized it, you may know the moment that inspired The Ikigai Partnership. The room empties, the chairs get folded, and the person who brought everyone together is still there, trying to figure out how to move the work forward. We built Ikigai for people like that. They care about something bigger than themselves. They know their community well. And sometimes, after everyone else has gone home, they could use someone who will pull up a chair, ask a thoughtful question, and come back next week.
How we fund the work
The Ikigai Partnership is a nonprofit. We earn part of our revenue through paid advisory engagements with leaders and organizations that have the means to contribute. That income helps sustain the people and time we devote to the work. Donations, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions help us extend that same care to leaders with fewer resources. They also support work we make available to the wider community, from freely accessible Ikigai Insights to gatherings where people who share a concern can meet and decide what to do about it together.
What your support makes possible
A donation can give a community leader something that is often hard to fund: time with a trusted thinking partner. That might mean sitting down with a founder whose idea has outgrown what they can carry alone, helping them work through a difficult decision, and staying involved long enough to see what happens next. A monthly gift helps us plan for that follow-through. It gives us more confidence to say, “Yes, we can keep showing up.”
A sponsorship can help put knowledge and people within reach of one another. You might help fund the research and review behind an Ikigai Insight so a resident can understand an issue like flooding, housing affordability, or caregiving before it becomes a decision they have to make. Or you might help cover the cost of a community gathering so the people closest to an issue can be in the room. In both cases, your support helps more people participate, learn, and contribute their own experience.
If someone came to mind as you read this, you already understand why Ikigai exists. Make a gift, explore a sponsorship, or tell us what you’d like to contribute. We’d love to hear what you care about and find a way to put your support to work.
